Dressage is an Olympic equestrian sport. The word "dressage" comes from the French term for "training," and the goal is to develop the horse into a happy athlete through a harmonious education. The training makes horses calm, flexible, and confident, which helps them form a better understanding with their rider. In competitions, dressage horses and riders perform compulsory movements in a pre-set pattern, with the exception of the freestyle competition, where riders can showcase their personal style and artistry by choreographing required elements to music.

Tilted Tiara encourages everyone to attend its dressage shows. These shows are open to all athletes, including adult amateurs, juniors, open and international riders. The shows provide an opportunity to get in the show ring in a world-class facility with great footing and judging. The shows offer a welcoming and supportive environment, and let's not forget the chance to win a Tiara! So, what are you waiting for? Join the fun this summer!!

At Tilted Tiara, we value our competitors above all else. We've taken your feedback to heart and are making big changes to our events for 2024. Here's what you can expect:

• Fewer classes to allow for more competitors in each class

• Simplified championships for easier tracking of leaderboards

• FEI Young Horse Classes featuring panels of FEI-certified Young Horse Judges

• CDI scheduled earlier in the show season, so it can be used as a qualifier for NAYC

• A shorter dressage test and a revamped format for the jumping round in the Classic

• New scoring methods and classes for the Triple Crown

• Working equitation
